The Invitation
I'm looking to photograph you "naked". And by that I do not mean necessarily undressed, as beautiful as you are, undressed.
I am looking to capture you in those moments of the pure essence of you. You without masks, without concealment, in your most unmoderated, unfiltered, true self.
In the dictionary, naked is:
~ having no protecting or concealing cover
~ devoid of elaboration or diminution or concealment
~ bare and pure
Like the trees. Like the way kids show you exactly how they are ~ grumpy one minute, laughing their heads off the next.

| "To be honest, the more I do this, the less I do it for photography's sake. I love photography, but it's more about what's happening. I wish I were a better writer, or poet or musician, to use some other way to use my experience to move people. We're at a crucial time in the world, so polarized, with such a lack of understanding. The pictures themselves have power, but I don't want to do it to make nice pictures." ~ Ami Vitale |
